Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S Review. By Nasim Mansurov 60 Comments ISO 64, 1/15, f/5.6 NIKON Z 7 II + NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S @ 70mm, ISO 64, 1/5,
Except for the Tamron 70-200mm, all other lenses have image stabilization / vibration reduction technology. The new Nikon 70-200mm f/4G VR offers the best stabilization technology with up to 5 stops of advantage (on paper, read about my VR experience further down in the review), while both Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 and Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 are at 4 stops. If you need f/2.8 and don't want to pay Nikon 70-200/2.8 prices, then seriously consider the Tamron 70-200/2.8 VC G2. It is bigger and heavier but it focus' well and I like the rendering. Mine is sharp wide open at f/2.8. If you don't need f/2.8, the Nikon 70-200/4 is a good option, but also consider the Nikon 70-300/4.5-5.6 ED AF-P VR. I just EixquXM.
